My name is Eri Miyazu.
I am a mom of three kids, and a wife of a husband.
I am a certified legal specialist in Japan, who we call Gyosei Shoshi.
A little bit about myself…
I was born and raised in Saitama, Japan. I was a curious child and became very interested in different cultures overseas.
I flew solo to Pensylvania, USA for university, and graduated with BA in psychology and education.
As much as I wanted to stay in the States, my family wanted me back in Japan. I had to, and so I did.
I still had a desire to work in multi-cultural environment. However, life sometimes pushes us to an unexpected journey.
I became an elementary school teacher in Tokyo. I had a few foreign related students in my classes. They were from Nepal, Korea and the Philippines.
I worked as a teacher for 10 years.
During which I got married and had children, and moved to Hiroshima, Japan.
As COVID changed hundreds and thousands of lives, it changed mine.
I studied to become a legal specialist, then moved to Vancouver, Canada.
Living overseas could be a totally different experience with kids.
I had to take care of the kids’ trasitions physically and emotionally. It was not easy.
After a year, we came back to Japan.
Currently I live in Saitama, and raise three children who are at daycare and school.
It has been such a struggle for me to raise them without any close family or friends especially when kids were little.
My children don’t exactly like going to school and every morning feels like a roller coaster.
If you struggle with raising children, I feel you.
I am here to help you with your visa issues.
But not only that, please feel free to talk to me your worries and struggles over family matters.
